  • CahmberFest '23

    Shauna will feature in the 2023 annual ChamberFest, a festival celebrating chamber music. Shauna will perform with Ukrainian violinist, Yana Shpak, Four Songs for Voice and Violin by Gustav Holst.

    Shauna will also appear in other ensembles in ChamberFest, including a voice, violin, piano trio.

  • Feis Ceoil 2023

    Shauna will be participating in numerous competitions again this year at the Dublin Feis Ceoil, including the Dramatic Cup, Veronica Dunne Cup, the Nancy Calthorpe and Plunkett Greene.

  • Vaughan Williams Mass in G Minor

    Shauna is excited to perform Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Mass in G Minor, set for double SATB chorus and soloists. Conducted by the celebrated Blathnaid Murphy.

  • Ina Boyle: Gaelic Hymns

    Shauna will join the RIAM Chamber Choral to perform selected hymns by Ina Boyle. Conducted by the celebrated Blathnaid Murphy.

  • The Importance of Being Earnest

    Shauna is excited to be cast in RIAM Acting Department’s production of The Importance of Being Earnest, directed by Helene Montague. This production was cast gender-blind, and Shauna will be playing the role of Algernon.

Maura Dowdall Concerto Competition

Shauna is delighted to be competing in this year’s Maura Dowdall Concerto competition with the RIAM. The winner of this competition will go on to do a performance with the National Symphony Orchestra next year.

Shauna will sing Chausson’s Poeme de l’amour et de la mer.

Shauna will perform her first trouser role as the Drug Dealer in RIAM Opera’s production of The Sofa by Elizabeth Maconchy., conducted by Andrew Synnott.

Christmas Day Dinner for Dublin’s Homeless

Shauna is a proud volunteer every year at the Christmas Day Dinner for Dublin’s Homeless in the RDS since 2015. She performs on the day a selection of classical music, including operatic arias, crossover songs and some musical theatre favourites. At the end of the dinner, we perform Christmas Carols and give gifts to the children.

The Bohemian’s Exclusive Music Club

Shauna is so honoured and delighted to be invited back to sing at The Bohemian’s less than 4 weeks after her recent performance with them. Repertoire for this Evening of Remembrance will include Ernest Charles’ beautiful song, When I have sung my songs. I will finish the recital with Poulenc’s Les chemins de l’amour.

After winning the Margaret Burke-Sheridan at the 2022 Feis Ceoil, Shauna was given honorary membership of the esteemed exclusive music club, The Bohemians. Shauna is delighted to make her Bohemian Debut, performing arias from Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro and Copland’s The Tender Land. Shauna will also perform alongside friend and colleague Cathal McCabe (tenor) singing duets from Bernstein’s West Side Story.

Shauna will be making her role and house debut with Saluzzo Opera in Florence, Italy singing the title role of Poppea in Monteverdi’s opera, L’incoronazione di Poppea.

Shauna will also sang the roles of Damigella and Venere (Goddess of Love) on alternate nights.

The John McCormack Bursary - Winner’s Recital

Shauna has been awarded with a John McCormack Bursary, presented by the John McCormack Society of Ireland. She will perform a short recital with fellow prize winners Eadaoin Hasset (soprano), Cathal McCabe (tenor), and Owen Lucas (tenor).

ChamberFest 2020

Shauna is excited to perform in the inaugural ChamberFest, a chamber music festival founded by Sarah Sew, Head of Strings at the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

Shauna will perform a variety of Bellini and Rossini songs and arietta along with Sadia Bytyqi (soprano) and Emma O’Brien (pianist).
