Upcoming role: Shauna to debut as Susanna in Mozart's 'Le Nozze di Figaro' at RIAM Opera, conducted by Brenda Hurley.

Shauna Claire, an international-award-winning lyric coloratura soprano, studied at the Royal Irish Academy of Music with the esteemed voice teacher, Sylvia O’Regan (former Head of Vocal and Opera) and repetiteurs Andrew Synnott (Wexford Festival Opera) and Dr. Dearbhla Collins (National Opera Studio London).

Shauna was the last student to have been taught by the late Irish soprano Dr. Veronica (Ronnie) Dunne in 2019.

Shauna is very excited to be giving a lecture presentation in the Royal Irish Academy of Music as part of her thesis research.

Final Recital

Shauna is happy to announce that she will be performing her final recital in the RIAM on June 7th. The recital will be 55 minutes and include music from Puccini’s La Boheme, Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro and Handel’s Alcina. Songs by Poulenc, Duparc, Coates, Purcell, Arne and more will also be performed.
